Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Rotterdam. Rotterdam and The Hague are business and diplomatic cities first. International courts, embassies and the port bring midweek guests who stay several nights, while North Sea Jazz and Scheveningen beach season fill summer weekends. Dutch municipalities cap how many nights a home can be rented, so I plan those nights around the events that pay most.
For owners in Rotterdam or The Hague I treat the two cities as separate markets, check the registration and night cap in each, and plan which dates deserve the limited nights. Then we set a weekday strategy for business and diplomatic visitors and a weekend plan for events, beach and architecture tourism.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Rotterdam.
