Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Chamonix. The French Alps run on school-holiday weeks. February half-term across France, the UK and the Netherlands is the peak, chalets turn over on Saturdays, and summer in Chamonix and Annecy is a real second season. Inter-seasons are very quiet. The difference between the best and worst pricing I see here is almost always in how each holiday week is treated. A February week that overlaps French, British and Dutch holidays should never cost the same as a quiet January week.
For an Alpine chalet or apartment, I check what the commune permits, how the property compares with others at the same lift access, and whether every holiday week is priced for the countries it serves, then rebuild your winter and summer plans so the quiet months do not undercut the strong ones.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Chamonix.
