Booking.com optimization for hotels is the work I do to make a property rank, convert and price correctly on Booking.com. I complete the content score, order the photos for the result card, set up rate plans, Genius and promotions, and fix policies that cost you visibility.
What I plan around in Kotor: the UNESCO-listed fortified old town and the climb to St John's Fortress; the fjord-like Bay of Kotor and cruise-ship arrivals; Perast and the island church of Our Lady of the Rocks; the Boka Night festival and the yacht berths of Porto Montenegro at Tivat. Guests I price for: International couples and small groups on two to four night stays inside and just outside the old town, plus cruise-linked and yachting visitors. Where I start: Charging premium summer rates on scarce stone old-town stock in a cruise-pressured bay, extending the shoulder along the coast, and completing the mandatory tourist registration and categorisation.
Kotor sells mostly through Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and Expedia. Boutique hotels in the bay mix cruise-linked visitors, yachting guests and touring couples. With my five-star hotel background I work on room-type pricing by view, packages with boat trips, and pricing that extends the season beyond the summer peak into the calmer weeks of May, June and September.
The service in general is described on my hotel ota optimization page; this page covers how I apply it in Kotor.
