Trip.com optimization for hotels is the work I do to make a property rank, convert and price correctly on Trip.com. I adapt your content for the Chinese and Asian traveler, set up promotions and flash sales, and manage the service signals Trip.com scores.
What I plan around in Interlaken: the Jungfraujoch railway to the Top of Europe; Grindelwald, the Lauterbrunnen valley and the Schilthorn; paragliding, canyoning and adventure sports over the twin lakes; skiing across the First, Kleine Scheidegg and Muerren areas. Guests I price for: International adventure tourists and Asian tour groups on two to three summer nights, and week-long ski parties in winter around Interlaken and Grindelwald. Where I start: Running a true dual-season alpine curve with premium summer and ski peaks, floor-pricing the double shoulder, and factoring the local Kurtaxe tourist tax and any cantonal registration into rates.
Interlaken sells mostly through Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and Expedia. My hotel career included group-heavy markets like this one. For Interlaken hotels I review allotments with tour operators, the mix between groups and independent travellers in July and August, and how much inventory to hold back for high-paying direct guests.
The service in general is described on my trip.com optimization page; this page covers how I apply it in Interlaken.
