Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Aarhus. Aarhus has a short bright summer with NorthSide in June and Aarhus Festuge in late August, plus family trips to Legoland. Denmark caps home-sharing nights and ties registration to CPR numbers. I concentrate allowed nights on summer and festivals. Families visiting Legoland often stay longer than city-break guests, so a flat suited to families can use longer minimum stays in July and August while central flats stay flexible.
If you own a home in Aarhus, I check Danish rules on home sharing and registration, count how many nights you can use, and plan where to spend them, focusing on festival weeks, family summer stays and conference dates rather than quiet winter weekends.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Aarhus.
