Alaa's take on Abruzzo
“Abruzzo is Rome's back garden. Romans drive out for weekends in the mountains, at the ski fields around Roccaraso and on the Trabocchi Coast, while walkers and families come for Gran Sasso and the national parks in summer. The region rarely gets foreign crowds, so I price mainly for Italian weekends and school holidays, with the coast and the ski season as two separate peaks.”
