Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Brittany. Brittany is France's family summer coast with a British accent. Saint-Malo, Dinard and the Emerald Coast fill with French families and ferry passengers in July and August, while Parisians arrive by TGV for Easter and the May bridges. Further west, the Crozon peninsula and the Gulf of Morbihan sell calmer weeks. I price the May bridges hard and keep Saint-Malo's rental quotas front of mind before advising anyone to buy.
For a Brittany owner I check the local rules first, then build a year plan with May bridges, summer weeks and autumn weekends priced separately. I compare the property with its real neighbours, whether in Saint-Malo, Dinard or the Morbihan, rather than with the whole region.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Brittany.
