Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Estes Park. Estes Park is driven by Rocky Mountain National Park and its timed-entry system, which shapes when visitors can come. Summer and the autumn elk rut are the peaks, while winter is quiet when Trail Ridge Road closes. The town also caps short-term rental licences in some areas.
Estes Park owners get my review of licence status, park access and how the home handles the summer peak, the elk season and winter. From there we agree on targets for each month, when to open dates, and a winter plan that covers costs while the high country is closed.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Estes Park.
