Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of New Braunfels. New Braunfels is a river town with a hard summer edge. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Texas groups arrive to tube the Comal and the Guadalupe, ride Schlitterbahn and two-step at Gruene Hall, and then the season stops almost overnight. Wurstfest gives early November a second peak and Canyon Lake adds boating demand. I price access to the water as the main product, hold weekend minimums firmly, and check river flow and lake levels every week in summer.
With a New Braunfels owner I start by sorting the home into river, Gruene or Canyon Lake, then we agree summer minimums, group pricing and extra guest fees together. We map Wurstfest, spring break and fair dates, and I hand you a plan you can run yourself, with notes on what to check each week when flows change.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in New Braunfels.
