Booking.com optimization for rentals is the work I do to make a property rank, convert and price correctly on Booking.com. I audit the listing, complete the content score, tune photos, rate plans, deals and policies, and make the changes with you on Zoom.
What I plan around in Svalbard: Snowmobile and dog-sled expeditions; Midnight sun and wildlife cruises; Research and university (UNIS) travel; Polar bear and Arctic nature tourism. Guests I price for: Expedition travellers on 3 to 5 night stays, researchers and cruise passengers. Where I start: Limited supply priced by season, expedition-package positioning and Longyearbyen's very limited lodging supply.
Svalbard sells mostly through Booking.com, Expedia and expedition operators. Where letting is permitted, I set up the pricing tool with spring, summer and polar night as distinct seasons, festival dates loaded as events and minimum stays matched to flight days. I check the calendar against operator allotments every week, so public nights and contracted ones never collide in March or April.
The service in general is described on my booking.com listing optimization page; this page covers how I apply it in Svalbard.
