Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Cappadocia. Cappadocia is a short-stay, photo-driven market. Guests come for two or three nights, for balloons at sunrise and cave rooms with terraces. Asian holidays like Chinese New Year and Golden Week add spikes. Views decide much of the price. Balloon flights depend on weather, and guests often book extra nights to improve their chances. Flexible terms and fair pricing for an extra night can turn a two-night stay into three.
For a Cappadocia owner I review how the view is presented, the licence and the cancellation policy, then build seasons around balloon conditions and Asian holidays. We set terrace premiums, two-night rules and winter pricing, so the property earns throughout the year rather than in a few spring weeks.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Cappadocia.
