Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Frankfurt. Frankfurt is almost entirely trade fairs and business. The Book Fair, IAA, Ambiente and Light + Building can multiply rates, while weekends and August are quiet. I price fairs from the Messe calendar and set sensible weekend floors. Guests are mostly paid for by their employers during fairs, so price sensitivity is lower than owners expect. The mistake is using the same rate for a small fair week and a huge one like the Book Fair.
Frankfurt rewards owners who track the Messe calendar closely. I confirm your property's legal status, then review how it compares for fair visitors, bankers and transit guests, and design a plan where each fair is priced by its real size, with sensible floors for the quiet summer.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Frankfurt.
