Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Lincoln. Lincoln is a Husker town. Seven or so Saturdays at Memorial Stadium decide the autumn, and the sellout tradition means demand is reliable even in a losing season, though a marquee Big Ten opponent still matters. Volleyball at the Devaney Center, May graduation and the Unicameral session add steady demand. July and winter are quiet. I tier game weekends by opponent, protect 2-night minimums and keep weekday floors sensible for government travellers.
With a Lincoln owner I sit down with the Husker football and volleyball schedules and rank every home date. Then we agree tiers, minimum stays and when to release unsold game nights, and set a summer plan that does not leave July empty. It is a short list of rules that carries the whole year.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Lincoln.
