Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Nantes. Nantes and the Atlantic coast split summer between an art trail and the beaches. Le Voyage à Nantes and Les Machines de l'Île fill the city in July and August, while La Baule and Pornic sell family beach weeks. Winter is quiet. I price city and coast on separate curves.
If your home is in Nantes or on the coast, my first step is to work out which of those two markets it truly belongs to, because they peak differently and attract different guests. Then I check registration, transport links and events like the classical music festival, and rebuild the year around the strongest dates rather than a single summer curve.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Nantes.
