Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Panama City. Panama City and Bocas del Toro serve different guests. The city has canal, banking and business travel plus retirees, while Bocas and San Blas sell island holidays. Dry season and Carnival are the peaks. Many long-stay guests are testing Panama before moving there, so furnished homes with good internet and building amenities can command strong monthly rates.
For a Panama City apartment or a Bocas island home, I review building rules, how city weekdays and island weeks should be priced on separate calendars, and how much of the year should go to long-stay guests, then give you a plan that fits both markets.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Panama City.
