Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Haarlem. Haarlem sells itself as the relaxed alternative to Amsterdam, fifteen minutes away by train, with its own Grote Markt, museums and canals. Spring is the real peak, as Keukenhof and the bulb fields sit close by and the flower parade ends in the city. Summer adds beach visitors bound for Zandvoort and Bloemendaal. I price Haarlem against Amsterdam's ceiling but never below the value of its own old town.
For a Haarlem owner I review registration, the yearly night limit and the true comp set, then build a plan that focuses rentable nights on spring and the strongest weekends. It suits owners who want to get more from a limited number of nights.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Haarlem.
