Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Atlanta. Atlanta is priced by the event calendar and by production schedules. A stadium concert, Dragon Con or a big Georgia World Congress Center show can double demand for a weekend, while film and TV crews quietly fill 30 to 90-night stays in between. Hosts who only see leisure demand usually miss that second customer, and it is often the steadier income.
For Atlanta owners I check the city licence first, then build the year around the event calendar, production work and convention demand. The plan sets event premiums, group rules for large homes, monthly rates for crews and weekday floors for business travellers.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Atlanta.
