Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Guadalajara. Guadalajara is a business and convention city. Expo Guadalajara events and the FIL book fair fill midweeks, tech travel is growing and weekends sell to domestic visitors heading to Tequila and Chapala. Business visitors usually want quick access to the Expo and business districts, while weekend guests want the historic centre, so location strategy depends on which guest a home suits best.
For a Guadalajara apartment or small portfolio, I map your property against the Expo and FIL calendar, check whether you can serve corporate guests properly with invoices, and build separate weekday and weekend rate cards so convention weeks and quiet weekends are priced with intent.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Guadalajara.
