Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Izmir. Izmir and Çeşme share an airport but sell three different stays. Alaçatı is Istanbul's summer address, with stone-house boutique hotels, windsurfing and beach clubs that peak hard in July, August and the bayram holidays. Çeşme town and Ilıca are more family and thermal. Izmir itself is a working city of trade fairs, universities and Ephesus day trips. I put the Turkish domestic holiday calendar at the centre of every Çeşme price and run the city on weekdays.
For Izmir and Çeşme owners I map which demand the property serves, Istanbul summer guests, family beach weeks or city business, then set a calendar with bayram dates, stay rules and permit checks. It suits owners who have relied on word of mouth and now want structure.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Izmir.
