Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Lake Chelan. Lake Chelan is a steep summer-only lake market. July and August are packed with Seattle families, and the rest of the year is quiet. The short season makes gap rules and holiday minimums critical. With such a short season, every empty night in July or August is hard to recover later. I focus on minimum stays and gap rules that keep the calendar full without blocking good bookings.
For Lake Chelan owners I check permit tier, water access and how the summer weeks are protected, then plan what the other eight months should earn. We agree firm targets for July and August and a realistic winter plan, often monthly, so the house is not idle half the year.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Lake Chelan.
