Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Hershey. Hershey is a theme-park market with a second season many owners miss: Christmas Candylane from late November to December. Summer families fill Hersheypark weekends, Giant Center concerts create single-night spikes, and Harrisburg adds business and state-capital travel. The Farm Show in January is the last spike before a quiet winter.
If you own a home near Hershey or a unit in Harrisburg, I review how your summer park weeks, Candylane weekends, concert nights and weekday business demand are priced, then build a plan with you that keeps the calendar earning from the Farm Show right through to Christmas.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Hershey.
