Hotel revenue management consulting is an independent review followed by a plan. I look at 12 to 24 months of your own data, shop your comp set, and find where rates, restrictions or channels are costing you money. Unlike outsourcing, I do not make your daily decisions; your team does, with a better plan.
This is my view of Lake Norman. Lake Norman is a commuter lake as much as a holiday one. Summer weekends bring Charlotte families out to boat and swim, but Mooresville's race shops, Lowe's corporate offices and the business parks around Huntersville keep weekdays alive all year. Race weeks at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord add sharp peaks in May and the autumn. I price weekends for leisure and weekdays for work, and I treat Coca-Cola 600 week as its own season.
For a Lake Norman owner I begin by weighing weekday corporate demand against summer leisure, because that balance decides the whole strategy. We set race-week rules, pier and lake premiums and winter monthly rates together, and I leave you with a calendar you understand and can adjust yourself rather than a black box.
The service in general is described on my hotel revenue management consulting page; this page covers how I apply it in Lake Norman.
