Regional and niche hotel OTA optimization is the work I do to make a property rank, convert and price correctly on regional and niche OTAs. I decide which regional OTAs are worth your time, then set up content, rates and mapping through your channel manager with parity checked.
What I plan around in Aruba: US and Dutch winter travel; Carnival; Outside the hurricane belt, so a long season; Diving and windsurfing. Guests I price for: US and Dutch families on 5 to 7 night stays. Where I start: Winter premiums, Carnival weeks, and a comparatively shallow low-season discount.
Aruba sells mostly through Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com. For small resorts and boutique hotels on both islands I apply what I learned in five-star chains: segmenting American, Dutch and South American guests, fencing package rates from room-only and pricing Carnival and Dutch summer holidays as distinct demand periods.
The service in general is described on my other hotel ota optimization page; this page covers how I apply it in Aruba.
